Finding Internships in Nepal: Timeline and Tactics
When to apply, what to show with zero experience, and how to convert internships to offers.
By DigitalNepal · Updated 2026-10-04
Internships go to students who show initiative before applying: class projects, volunteering, competitions - anything proving you finish things.
Steps
1Start a semester early
Application cycles precede joining by months. Final-year students should already be applying.
2Show three proofs
Projects, certificates that required work, and a clean LinkedIn. No proof, no reply.
3Target 20+ applications weekly
Portals, company sites, referrals and walk-ins combined. Track everything in a sheet.
4Convert deliberately
Ask week one what a return offer needs. Then visibly deliver exactly that.
Good to know: Long unpaid 'internships' doing real employee work are exploitation. Short learning stints are fine; endless free labour is not.
