1Get a site survey

2Clear load approval
Confirm with NEA/your electrician that the sanctioned load covers charger plus home peak.
3Wire first, mount second
Conduit, breaker, earthing, waterproofing for outdoor spots. Then mount and commission.
4Test and document
Full charge cycle test, warranty papers, installer contact and breaker labels.
Good to know: Get 2-3 written quotes with itemised wiring vs charger costs. Vague lump sums hide corners cut.
