- 1. Install a password manager: Bitwarden (free) or your browser's manager. One master password to remember, the rest auto-filled.
- 2. Prioritise 5 accounts: Email, Facebook, Google, banking/wallets, and Apple ID get unique 14+ character passwords first.
- 3. Turn on 2FA everywhere important: Authenticator app preferred; SMS as backup. Save recovery codes on paper.
- 4. Check past leaks: If an old password appears in a breach, change it everywhere it was reused.
