Steps
1Turn off VPN and data saver
VPNs route abroad and halve speed. Data Saver throttles everything. Toggle both off and retest.
2Toggle airplane mode
Ten seconds on, then off. Forces a fresh tower connection - fixes most sudden slowdowns.
3Forget and rejoin Wi-Fi
On Wi-Fi, forget the network and reconnect. Clears corrupted saved settings.
4Reset network settings
Still slow? Reset Wi-Fi/mobile/Bluetooth settings (you will re-enter Wi-Fi passwords).
